I purchased the Nomad after four years on a well-liked Meanstreak. The heavier bike handles as a cruiser and the better wind management and cruiser ride compensates for the greater maneuverability of the plenty powerful Meanstreak. Until Kawasaki equips the Nomad with electronic cruise control, let me recommend the Breakaway products throttle lock. I had an excellent performing Vistalock on the last bike, but the Breakaway unit provides similar service with a sleeker appearance and no need to move the mirror support.
